Early on, 1990ish, we worked with DEKA
Research & Development to develop a small, lightweight dialysis
machine. We were tasked with helping create a circuit card that did
it all. The design included a Intel 80C188EB and a Signetics 80C552
processor. Once the PCB was complete we developed the
manufacturing tester for the circuit card as well.
The peritoneal dialysis system was featured on the cover of
Design News, June 1993. The design is sold by Baxter in the
HOMECHOICE product family.
