Human Transport User Interface
Our team was an integral part of the Segway™ team which developed hardware and firmware within the Human Transport User Interface (UI). The design, based on two processors, facilitated a redundant design. A Maxim-Dallas I-Button was incorporated for security and to reduce cost, and the I-Button protocol was implemented within the existing on-board microcomputer. After creating prototype PCBs and testing the design the database was transferred to Delphi Automotive Systems, who will be producing the design.
